In two days, Amtrak 66 will be coupled behind Santa Fe 4-8-4 3751 (sitting on track 11, just to the left) for the steam locomotives trip to northern Arizona. Union Station is a busy place these days, as evidenced by the construction of a new platform for Track 13.

A 1950s vintage Cadillac, and a 1945 REA truck, were brought out to add to the retro atmosphere around Santa Fe 4-8-4 3751 on Track 11. Meanwhile, on Track 12, Amtrak "Heritage" P42DC 66 wears an old Amtrak scheme, although that is of a much more recent vintage than the others.
